A level up for Esquire Philippines as they cover one of the country's, if not the country's, Top Cover Girl.... Ms Georgina Wilson!!!
Styled by Liz Uy and photographed by BJ Pascual, this cover will definitely set a standard for other magazines in the country for next month!

David Beckham: Elle Magazine's First Male Cover
Yup!! David Beckham is to be the first male to cover the famous fashion magazine in UK this July. So does this mean it is the start of a new beginning for Elle Magazine Covers??
Elle editor, Lorraine Candy said ...
"David Beckham is a national hero. He is an icon and Elle is known for featuring icons on its cover.
"This is a first for us on the newsstand I believe he is loved by men and women alike. Anyway, who doesn’t want to see a picture of one of the world’s most handsome men on the front cover of a magazine.”
The question now is will this cover be picked up by other Elle Magazine's around the globe??
And since Sir Elton John is considered a national hero and an icon (by the queen) should the readers expect to see him in Elle's upcoming covers?? LoL

Coco Rocha Disappointed Over Her Elle Brazil Cover
Supermodel extraordinaire, Coco Rocha, expressed her disappointment over her latest Magazine Cover under Elle Brazil. Apparently her guidelines and request were not followed by the magazines.
Rocha's statement...
"As a high fashion model I have long had a policy of no nudity or partial nudity in my photo shoots. For my recent Elle Brazil cover shoot I wore a body suit under a sheer dress which I now find was photoshopped out to give the impression of me showing much more skin than I was, or am comfortable with. This was specifically against my expressed verbal and written direction to the entire team that they not do so. I'm extremely disappointed that my wishes and contract was ignored. I strongly believe very model has a right to set rules for how she is portrayed and for me these rules were clearly circumvented."
- Coco Rocha
I personally think that Coco Rocha has a point. A model of her caliber has the right to demand even the simplest things like not editing that body suit.
I hope Elle Brazil understood where Coco was coming from.

Kate Moss for W Magazine this March 2012
Nothing could go wrong when it's Kate!!
Yes, Kate Moss!! The fiercest supermodel I've known!
She is the cover girl of W Magazine for March 2012.
Photographed by Steven Klein. Kate poses as "The Good and The Bad" Kate.
Gucci for the black dresses, and Vera Wang for the white ones!
The photos are dark and almost demonic... but fierce!!!
Check the full editorial below!
Here's the Bad Kate cover and its editorial photos...
and here's the Good Kate Cover and editorial photos..
Which I still find dark and demonic... but fierce!!
XoXo

Jinkee P Covers Mega Magazine for January 2012
Jinkee! Jinkee! Jinkee!!
-------------------------------
So everyone (I mean everyone!) was shocked when they saw Jinkee Pacquiao's Mega Magazine cover yesterday! Why? Im not telling. Just see it for yourself.
Most said it's extremely photo-shopped. Some are just over-acting. I listed down some of the funniest comments I read on Mega Magazine's comment thread (
..... "mega magazine, pls add the name of the graphic artist to credits..

4technology of photoshop, technology of make up............
that will make you look like the one you dream to be.........

I'm not an expert of photography neither Photoshop editing and so I cant say whether this is extremely edited or not. For people to think that a magazine cover was extremely photo-shopped could be a good thing for the magazine (publicity and all) and an insult to the cover model. Photo-shopped or not Mega Magazine did a great job on their first cover for 2012!! Jinkee looked gorgeous in that photo, and whether she's photo-shopped or surgically enhanced, she still looked good, and can't we just be happy for her??

PS: Photo-shopped = Digitally retouched through some software.

Preview Magazine Covers Charice
Her name is Charice (less the pempengco) and she is ka-vogue! She is now popularly known by her first name not just in the country but also internationally.
Charice has come a long way since she guested on Oprah as a young talented little girl to watch out for a couple of years ago. Now she's ready to take the grown up stage by storm. What better way to start it by being the first 2012 issue cover of the country's leading fashion magazine, Preview!
I think this fashionable cover is Charice's baptism to the world of fashion and fierceness!! Good job Preview!!!

Carey Mulligan: Last Years Vogue, This Years Elle
This is interesting!
Last year's Vogue (US) October issue photo of Carey Mulligan is
now this year's French Elle November Cover.
The said cover was photographed by Peter Lindbergh for Vogue US and was styled by no less than Vogue's Grace Codington last year, carey was wearing chanel in the said photo.
What's funny is that these magazine's dont share the same publishing house. So Lindbergh mustve gotten the rights to sell the photo to another mag in another country.
Isnt it a rule for magazines to not have the same cover photos with other magazines regardless of what year or what country it will be published? Where's the artistry in there? Didnt Lindbergh inform French Elle that this photo was shot for Vogue? Didnt French Elle know that their cover will just be a duplicate? Did French Elle even do their research or they just dont care at all? I wonder how Vogue feels about this? Im calling Anna now! LoL

Georgina Wilson It's You Already!! lol
Fashion's go to girl!
After appearing as model/stylist for Bench Body in Americas Next Top Model, Georgina Wilson now graces the cover of Rogue Magazine's December Issue!
Remember how i said Rogue Mag has the ability to combine sexy and classy? This latest cover is another proof of my statement. Georgina baring her chest in the photo. Having only a portion of the printed number 50 covering the sensitive area yet still the photo looks sophisticated. Photographed by Mark Nicdao, Rogue's latest issue is already available in major book stores and magazine stands nationwide.
Georgina is probably one of the fashion industry's influential figures. Being able to make Rogue Magazine trend in Twitter yesterday is a proof of Georgina's strong following.
A lot of her fans consider her as the pinoy version of the international supermodel Coco Rocha, because of their striking resemblance. This was not left unnoticed by the international supermodel since Georgina's followers were also able to make "Coco Rocha" trend in twitter philippines. By night time yesterday, the international supermodel acknowledged Georgina's presence and even tweeted that she already started following Georgina.
According to Georgina, she is a big fan of Coco Rocha and she is always honored everytime her fans tell her she looks like the supermodel.
This is one great move for Rogue Magazine, a great year ender issue! Congrats to your team!!!

Anne Curtis for Rogue Magazine's October 2011 Issue
And it comes in 3.....
..... 3 covers that is!
If there's one thing I dream of styling for a photo shoot, it's gotta be the uber gorgeous Anne Curtis-Smith... (Although I could say that that dream came close when I styled her sister Jasmine last Thursday, will share about that on my next post!)
In Rogue Magazine's October 2011 Issue
Our sweetheart Anne Curtis- Smith gorgeously posed for 3 different covers, where else but in Paris! Covers which could probably be considered as the most daring and controversial (yet) in Anne's career.
Photos by Marc Nicdao
Styled by Pam Quinones
Hair and Make Up by Robbie Pinera of L'Oreal Professionnel
Here are the covers of Rogue Magazine October 2011 Issue
Enjoy!

W Magazine September Issue is Kristen Stewart
Yes, this is Bella from Twilight!
My jaw dropped the first time I saw this.
Kristen Stewart covers W Magazine this September! And must I say it's F for Fierce!
I think W Magazine did a great job on staying away from her notorious tomboyish look. Her editorial is just so glamorous! W Magazine is giving other Magazine's September Issue Cover a run for their money!
Photos by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Styled by Edward Enninful. 60's inspired outfits from Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana and Junya Watanabe.
Enjoy the pics!!
